I'm a programmer not an accountant.
I have been born and raised in Chicago. For the last six years I have been an independent consultant specializing in PeopleSoft implementations and support. It has been a great experience. From a business perspective, I have learned how to run a business. I have gotten to live in Portland, OR., San Jose, CA., Denver, CO., Reno, NV., and Glendora, CA., Hartford, CT and Tulsa, OK. It has been fascinating to see how different each area of the US is. Currrently I am continuing to be a travelling consultant working in NJ of all places. The cummute is a challenge.
For the past six years I have been involved in a long distance relationship with my cutie. Someday we may live in the same place.
My interests also include belly-dancing and quilt-making.
I had not wanted this blog to turn into a daily journal simply because I am private and don't want to share that much with the world wide web but also because my life is not very exciting and I am not a good enough writer to make it seem so. In her book Simple Abundance, A Daybook of Comfort and Joy , Sarah Ban Breathnach suggests that one should keep a daily journal of the things one is grateful for that day. I've decided that here on this blog would be a good place to do that.
